Community Life Skills Hub - South Central
Throughout the month of November, we participated in activities about voting rights, healthy eating, coping with stress, and making choices. Participants enjoyed working together to cook a healthy breakfast and make & deliver Veteran’s Day cards. Some of November’s favorite outings included Pizza Ranch, the Post Office, and new volunteering tasks at The Sunshine Place!
This month, participants worked with staff to develop an ongoing list of topics, activities, and outings that they’d like to see offered within our Community Life Skills Hub program. Participant-driven programming is important to us here at DSAW, and we are very thankful for input from participants and families!
